SystemNOTE is a great way to help remind yourself of things. It displays a message (and even a picture) during your computer's startup and will even delay itself so you don't miss the message. If you prefer to remind yourself of something as you turn your computer off, SystemNOTE can handle that too. Many aspects of the operation of SystemNOTE can be adjusted through the new interface.

How to use SystemNOTE:
1) Drop SystemNOTE into the "Control Panels" folder of your "System Folder"
2) Open up SystemNOTE to configure it.
3) To configure a message for startup...
・Click on the 'Startup On' radio button to make SystemNOTE display your message at startup.
・Click on the 'Edit the startup message...' button to open the message preferences.
・Type in your own message into the box.
・Click on 'Set Picture...' to set a picture to be displayed with your message
-You must already have a picture on the clipboard, cutting out a picture from the scrapbook will
do. Click on the 'Paste' button to paste the picture into SystemNOTE. If you don't want a picture
displayed at startup then click 'None'. Click 'OK' to dismiss the dialog box.
・Click on 'Set Position...' to set the message position.
-Type the coordinates of the top-left of the message box into the 'Horizontal' and 'Vertical' text
fields. The little dialog box will move around the minature screen to show where the dialog box
will be positioned (relative to a 640x480 screen). Clicking on the 'Standard' buttons will set the
horizontal or vertical coordinates to a standard position (40 pixels from the top-left corner of the
screen). Click 'OK' to dismiss the dialog box.
・Click on 'OK' to dismiss the dialog box.
3) To configure a message for shutdown...
・Click on the 'Shutdown On' radio button to make SystemNOTE display your message at shutdown.
・Click on the 'Edit the shutdown message...' button to open the message preferences.
・Type in your own message into the box.
・Click on 'Set Picture...' to set a picture to be displayed with your message
-You must already have a picture on the clipboard, cutting out a picture from the scrapbook will
